Seth and Todd became good friends over mutual liking of Yuengling Beers at Happy Hour prices on Tuesday nights at UNC.  Since then, the two have stayed close enjoying the social elements of University and serving as UNC's mascot, all while Seth informed Todd of the some of the finer points of Southern culture. Seth has managed to succeed at work, somehow perfecting the 20hr work week to multiple promotions per year.  After a couple years hocking tools, Seth now lives in Charlotte, NC where he represents a medical device company, working closely with surgeons in operating rooms (a little scary for those of us who knew him 5 years ago).

Kelly is probably the most extreme and random of all Nicki's friends. She's a flight attendant by day, and a skiier, climber, yogi, traveler, cowgirl, and musician by night. They met in around grade 4, when the two elementary schools in the Crowsnest Pass merged into one. There was some serious rivalry in those early years, but later on, that competition bloomed into a lifelong friendship. Nicki and Kelly traveled to South America in 2009; battling thieves, food poisoning, and shitty circumstance along the way. Through all of that, they somehow remained friends and didn't kill each other. Kelly lives in Canmore and spends most of her free time in the mountains.

Joelle and Nicki became friends on the first day of grade 1. This is one of Nicki's closest inter-generational friendships: their mothers went to high school together. Nicki spent a lot of time in "Marra-ville" growing up, and learned a lot about Catholicism, Italian culture, and corned beef. Joelle is the most organized of all Nicki's friends, and for her own wedding, sent out information packages to all family and bridal party. Nicki will not be so organized and hopes Joelle will lend her planning skills. Joelle and her husband Joel live in Lethbridge with the cheekiest and cutest little girl, Atley, and spaz-dog Callie.
